Product and Project Manager

My main role was to oversee and plan the medium to long term development team work schedule based on project requirements, new project start dates, employee overhead and project budgeting.
I worked close to the sales team ensuring that technical specifications where written correctly and according to the development department capabilities. Thought the specifications that we delivered to potential customers we tried to present the best feasible solutions that could be implemented, taking into account both the customer's financial budget, his timeframe, our development department current and future load.
Also together with the sales and marketing department I attended events where I both presented our solutions on stage to potential customers and also I presented our technologies and solutions to targeted customers.
The biggest project that I have managed, in terms of budget, development time and resources involved was the development of the acquisitions management application for Carrefour. We developed both the Planning and Budgeting application for direct aquisitions and also the Capex - DPI management module.
From project to project I also got involved in the development project, by planning DB structures and creating database diagrams, writing source code both in C++ and PHP, or by optimizing the used algorithms.
Also during this time I have lead a research and development project for stock and delivery management with video camera reading of barcodes. This project is currently at a prototype stage, but it can read a bar-code from a distance of 1 meter at a speed of 0.2 seconds, with an accuracy of 99%.

Head of Development

My main role was to oversee each departments tasks and work flow, and to set the medium to long term development strategy. Since this company was a start up that I funded, at first I also handled sales, marketing and development.
By the time the company was sold, I managed to develop the company from a start up to a stable position on the Romanian market, having 7 full time employees and 3 project based collaborators. From the start of the company and until it was acquired we developed projects from small presentation websites to a complete cloud ERP +CRM management solution, with each project the team gaining more experience.
I have implemented a project management program, based on agile, with day to day team meetings and reporting, thus improving performance and reducing deadlines. Also I functioned as an interface between the customers and our development team, auditing the customer business to better understand they're needs and to propose the best solution that will fit they're work flow.

My main role was to create the course materials, keeping them up to date and to create applications for the hands on training and laboratories that the students attended. I have strived to teach the students in a practical manner so that they understand the course and both to have fun attending clases.
My main focus was network security, forensics and audits and I tried to inspire students to develop strong, scalable and secure networks by understanding how each type of protocol acts and how it should be accessed by the end user.
The course that I held for students comprised chapters from network hardware implementation to Linux server deployments and security audits and forensics.
My daily goal was to adapt each course to the students that attend, by presenting the theory in a friendly and fun way. Doing this I helped each one of them to get a passing grade on the final exam.
