Rodney Sampson is a renowned entrepreneur, ecosystem builder, and philanthropist who has dedicated his life to bridging the gap between underrepresented communities and the innovation economy. He is the cofounder and CEO of Opportunity Hub, a collaborative platform that provides under-tapped communities with access to multi-generational wealth creation opportunities. Sampson is also an author, educator, and a nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. He cofounded, built, and sold several companies, including Multicast Media Technologies and EFactor. Sampson is a duly consecrated bishop and a noted philanthropist who resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife and six children.
Sampson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Tulane University and an MBA in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. He also studied Medicine at Penn State College of Medicine and completed a Diploma in Science and Technology Magnet Curriculum at Frederick Douglass High School.
Over the years, Sampson has held several executive positions, including Executive Chairman at Streaming Faith, Limited Partner at TechSquare Labs, and Managing Partner at Legacy Opportunity Fund. He also served as the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Hearst and Executive In Charge of Diversity + Inclusion at Mark Burnett Productions, the executive producer of the hit show, ABC's Sharktank.
Sampson is a respected authority in entrepreneurship, innovation, and diversity, and his achievements have been recognized by several organizations, including the White House, the Congressional Black Caucus, and Ernst & Young. He is a sought-after speaker and has delivered keynote addresses at various conferences, including CES, SXSW, and the World Economic Forum.
