Aruna Chittiappa is a New York and New Jersey licensed lawyer with a diverse range of experiences in the field of law. Chittiappa is an associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and has previously worked at Eversheds Sutherland, White & Case LLP, and Ween & Kozek PLLC. She obtained her Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New York Law School and her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center. Chittiappa also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics; Law & Society from New York University.

Chittiappa has experience as a judicial extern at Chambers of Hon. Gerald Lebovits in New York City Civil Court and as a judicial intern at Chambers of Hon. Hector Velazquez in Superior Court of New Jersey: Chancery Division. She has volunteered in various legal assistant roles, including at Bressler Law PLLC, Safe Passage Project (New York Law School), and New York City Department of Consumer Affairs. Chittiappa has also worked as a research assistant at NYU Department of Politics and as a deputy field organizer at Reshma Saujani for Congress 2010.
