Dan Kerber is a skilled Lead Education Park Ranger with a passion for environmental education and interpretation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources, Natural Resources Recreation and Tourism from the University of Georgia. Dan has extensive experience working with the National Park Service as a Park Guide, Park Ranger (Interpretation) in English and Spanish, and Park Ranger (Interpretation - Spanish Cert.). He has also worked as an Environmental Educator at the Dunwoody Nature Center and Naturalist at the City of Sandy Springs. Dan's expertise in the outdoors has also landed him roles as a Program Leader at Rustic Pathways, Environmental Educator at Driftwood Education Center, and Leader-in-Training Coordinator at Camp Kingfisher. With strong leadership skills, Dan has served as the Secretary for the Natural Resources Recreation and Tourism Society at the University of Georgia, Philanthropy Chair, and Recruitment Chair for Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. He is also skilled in customer service, having worked as a Courtesy Clerk at The Fresh Market. Dan's enthusiasm for the environment and education enhances the visitor experience at the Natchez Trace Parkway in Tupelo, MS.
