Christopher Scott is a seasoned IT professional, with over 22 years of experience in the industry. He has held various board-level positions throughout his career, including Client Services Director and Programme and Compliance Director at The Bunker - Ultra Secure Hosting, and currently serving as Group Data Protection and Compliance Officer at Cyberfort Group.

Scott's expertise lies in managing critical infrastructure and system projects and implementing compliancy frameworks, such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials Plus, and GDPR. He has obtained several certifications, including PRINCE2 Practitioner, ISO 27001 and 9001 Lead Auditor, and a 27005 Risk Manager.

Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in Project Management from Leeds University, along with multiple other diplomas, certifications, and accreditations in construction management, cybersecurity, and quality/environmental management systems.

As a fully qualified GDPR Data Practitioner, Scott leads the group's efforts to ensure legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements are being met while integrating four businesses into one Information Security Management System, with recent achievements including creating the groups Governance Risk and Compliance strategy and obtaining ISO 27001 for the group.

Scott believes that Cyber Security should be invisible to the customer while working tirelessly in the background to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
