Trex Proffitt is an accomplished American history teacher and squash coach with a diverse background that includes experience as a strategy professor, corporate social responsibility and governance expert, conflict resolution specialist, and socially responsible leadership advocate. Proffitt is particularly interested in social impact, sustainability, entrepreneurship and innovation, stakeholder engagement, and investor activism.

Proffitt is a graduate of Yale University where he earned his BA in History. He went on to earn a Ph.D. in Organization Behavior from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. He has worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Emory University Goizueta Business School and held the William '49 and Virginia Miers Chair in Entrepreneurial Studies and Business at Muhlenberg College. He is currently teaching and coaching squash at Lancaster Country Day School.
