He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Technology and eventually moved to Naples, FL to escape the harsh Northwest winters. Currently serving as the CTO of Cigent Technology, Inc., Gregory leads a team dedicated to creating value-driven cybersecurity software and products. Under his leadership, the company helps businesses of all sizes protect their data with top-notch cybersecurity practices.
Mr. Scasny's cybersecurity expertise has earned him appearances on major news outlets, including ABC-7, NBC-2, and Wink News. Additionally, he has provided training and presentations for NASA, the CyberReady Conference at MacDill Air Force Base, the IRS Cybercrimes Division, and many other organizations.
Gregory Scasny is also active in his community, serving on several advisory boards, including the Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership and the Rocket Lounge, Southwest Florida's First Startup Incubator and Accelerator. He also serves as a Business Advisory Committee Member at Dunbar High School, the world's first Microsoft Certified High School.
