Dheera Venkatraman is a highly accomplished MIT Physics and Electrical Engineering alumnus who has made significant contributions to the fields of robotics, autonomous driving, sustainability, computer vision, machine learning, computational imaging, quantum devices, optics, and human-computer interaction. Dheera has a compelling background, having completed his Ph.D., Master's, and Bachelor's degrees at MIT, where he also served in various positions on several committees and as a research assistant. Dheera co-founded the startup, Robby Technologies, and played a key role in its success as CTO. He currently serves as Robotics Software Engineer and Architect at Freedom Robotics, where he strives to push the boundaries of robotics innovation. Dheera has also served on the board of directors and as a technology director for the MIT-China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum and held several roles at the Tzu Chi Foundation. His dedication to sustainability is evident through his former positions as the technology and marketing director at the MIT Sustainability Summit. Dheera is passionate about robotics, automation, and sustainable technologies and is always seeking new challenges and innovative solutions to everyday problems.
