Steve Wilson is a dedicated collegiate athletics administrator in higher education with years of experience serving students, faculty and staff of various institutions. With a BS in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University and an MPA in Nonprofit Management from Park University, Steve has a strong academic background. He believes calculated, designed expansion of athletics programs can lead to student-athlete opportunities in collegiate athletics and has implemented such programs in his positions as Director of Athletics at Kansas Wesleyan University and Associate Athletic Director/Media Relations and Compliance at Park University. Steve lives by the philosophy of measurable, responsible, attainable goals, and his attention to detail helps him facilitate a culture of civility, high performance, and success in many forms. Overall, his experience in athletics administration is extensive and includes stints as Manager of Sports Information and Media Services at NAIA, Assistant Media Relations Director-Athletics at Texas State University, and Salina Media Group Account Executive at Morris Communications.
