Alaric Bien is a seasoned expert in the field of clinical psychology, with a focus on pediatric neuropsychology and multicultural psychology. He has a Doctor of Psychology degree from Boston University School of Medicine, where he specialized in these areas. Additionally, he holds a degree in Chinese from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and East Asian studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master of Arts in clinical psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
As part of his extensive experience, Bien has served as a board member for a variety of organizations, including Eastside Pathways, Aegis Gardens of Newcastle, and the Chinese Community Action Coalition. He has also worked as a senior human services planner for the City of Redmond and as the director of acute care services for Compass Health. Furthermore, he has been a member of various advisory boards, such as the Western State Hospital Advisory Board and the City of Seattle Immigrant and Refugee Advisory Board.
