Bootstrapped new product development within a service oriented business. Owned the Product P&L, and led the product development, product management and pre-sales engineering teams.
-  Built remote product development and pre-sales engineering teams to drive cost efficiencies by working with multiple vendors.
-  Architected a multi-tenant SaaS, sensor agnostic presence and security platform that aggregated data from multiple sources such as Bluetooth sensors, GPS sensors, IP cameras, access control and video monitoring systems to provide customers with improved security and location services.
-  Designed and launched two end user applications - Connect and TRAXx - in mobile and web form factors.
-  Managed vendor relationships with hardware and software suppliers, and negotiated pricing.
-  Launched internal product development efforts to help the Marketing, Customer Support and the Service teams drive higher efficiencies and an improved customer experience.
-  As a member of the leadership team, presented updates to our Board, and participated in due diligence on M&A opportunities.

-  Led the development of a connected camera solution from inception to market.
-  Connected cameras made up more than 30% of Prism’s retail installs, and were the preferred go-to-market platform.
-  Defined a multi-tenant SaaS solution for visual sensors – presence, remote monitoring and control, data collection and visualization, that scaled to collecting data from more than 4000 cameras across 70 countries.
-  Collaborated with a remote 4 person mobile design/development team to build the Prism Retail mobile app.
-  Managed the refresh of the Sites and Reports modules in the Prism customer dashboard.
-  Built partnerships with multiple large IP camera vendors to integrate the Prism connected camera software at the edge.

-  Prism Skylabs, San Francisco, CA - Provided subject matter expertise on video analytics, defined new video analytics based metrics for the Prism product, and assisted in integrating the ObjectVideo analytics engine into the software platform.
