Faye McDonough is a seasoned SME lending expert with 18 years of industry experience who is now the Principal at BOOST&Co, a UK-based independent asset management company that provides growth-lending solutions for SMEs. As someone who has worked in both large corporates and early-stage businesses, she prefers an entrepreneurial environment where she can make fast decisions and provide transformational funding. Faye holds a BA (hons) degree from The University of Manchester and has a Chartered Banker Institute certification, where she learned valuable leadership skills. She is also accredited in EQi, an assessment tool for emotional intelligence. Other certifications that Faye would like include being an Accredited Leadership Coach and holding national open college network accreditation at level 3.

Faye’s career in the finance industry started when she worked as a Corporate Manager at Skipton Business Finance. She then joined Lombard as a Relationship Manager, working for the company for several years before joining RBS Invoice Finance as Relationship Manager and later as Client Relations Manager. Faye then moved to be Head of Client Relations at RBS Invoice Finance, where she led and managed a team of Relationship Managers. Later, she became Director of Capability at NatWest, where she led the business in its transformation programme. Faye was then hired as Head of Relationship Management at Growth Street, a London-based peer-to-peer lending platform, before joining BOOST&Co in her current position as Principal.

Faye is passionate about building strong relationships and networking with new people, which allows her to deliver results for her clients, colleagues and wider network. She loves empowering innovative companies to achieve their ambitions and enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Faye, a proud Mancunian, now resides in Cambridge, cycling around the city with her two sons on weekends. As an avid BBC 6music listener, Faye's playlist includes music from Stone Roses, The Beatles, and The Smiths.
