Chauncey Lane is an accomplished legal professional with a wealth of experience in both law and business. Holding a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law, an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center, and an M.B.A. from Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business, Lane has developed a wide-ranging skill set that has served him well throughout his career.

He is an expert in securities, finance, corporate transactions, public company governance, and investment management, having advised large companies, senior government officials, and other key stakeholders in these areas. Lane is especially adept at advising financial and strategic buyers and sellers on complex commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, minority and control investments, and leveraged buyouts. He also regularly advises boards and senior executives of domestic and international companies on SEC and stock exchange compliance and corporate governance matters.

In addition, Lane is committed to supporting his fellow veterans and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through fitness. He serves as a partner at Reed Smith LLP and has also served as an outside general counsel to alternative investment vehicles.
