Vickie Hernandez is a highly experienced Manager of Supply Chain Services at Kaiser Permanente, with a long-standing career in the healthcare industry. Vickie is dedicated to ensuring the quality of data standards and leading team efforts to maintain recurring DQ reporting. She has successfully initiated and led the purchasing system/item master conversion for the entire Kaiser network and combined 8 mainframe item masters of 55k items to a national PeopleSoft purchasing system containing over 490k items. Vickie's expertise lies in identifying, designing and maintaining technical automated tools, such as contract loader, component interfaces, queries, reports, and SQLs to support the item master conversion efforts. Her current mission involves combining item masters of pharmacy and non-pharmacy and overseeing the operations of both teams. Vickie is also leading the item master conversion efforts for clinical inventory systems and regional acquisitions for Kaiser, including the new Washington region. Her commitment has established strong work relationships with Supply Chain Support teams such as Product Support, Demand Planning, Transportation Materials Management, and Sourcing teams to offer full support throughout all regions.
