Before retiring as Partner Of Counsel at White & Case LLP where he served from 1992 to 2019, he navigated a series of complex international cases for governments, notably Saudi Aramco, major banks, and leading companies such as Deutsche Bank, and JPMorgan Chase. He has also advised company senior executives and corporate boards in complex litigation matters providing both technical expertise and business judgment.

Pell's educational background includes Doctor of Law (J.D.) from University of Virginia School of Law and Bachelor's degree, Political Science and Government, Summa Cum Laude; Phi Beta Kappa from Binghamton University.
