Dr. Matthew Diamond is a highly accomplished sports medicine and rehabilitation physician and scientist with a vast knowledge of digital health. After completing his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees at the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University, he went on to hold a range of executive and faculty positions that highlight his exceptional expertise in the field.
He has served as the Chief Medical Officer for Digital Health at the FDA, Medical Officer for Digital Health at the FDA, Chief Medical Officer at Nokia Technologies, Medical Director at Misfit Wearables, and the Medical Director at Fossil Group, Inc. Additionally, he was Vice Chair on the Health & Fitness Technology Division Board for the Consumer Technology Association, and at one time served as the Chair of the Health & Fitness Technology Standards Committee.
Dr. Diamond has been a Staff Physician at the Harkness Center for Dance Injuries at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician at NYU Langone Medical Center. He has also worked as a Fellow in Spine and Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery and an Internal Medicine Physician at Lenox Hill Hospital.
