Kelly Edwards is a dedicated advocate for health equity and community-based partnerships. With an impressive background in higher education, healthcare, and nonprofit social services, Edwards has a wealth of experience in the field of environmental health and cancer research ethics. A former professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine and currently the Interim Executive Director at Room One, Edwards is passionate about working together to help all people achieve their full potential.
Edwards holds a PhD in Philosophy of Education from the University of Washington, a master's in Bioethics from the University of Washington School of Medicine, and an AB in Philosophy from Occidental College. Notably, Edwards has also held positions such as Director, Community Engagement and Ethics Core at the University of Washington School of Public Health, Associate Dean for Student and Postdoctoral Affairs at the University of Washington, and Founder and Board Member at VitalTalk.
