Samara Mejia Hernandez is a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur with a diverse background in finance, management, and operations engineering. She studied for her Master of Business Administration at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and earned her BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan. Her expertise spans across different industries, including asset management, sales, and fixed income, currency, commodity, futures.
Samara founded Chingona Ventures and served as a board member at Tiny Organics, Chicago:Blend, CIS (Communities In Schools) of Chicago, and VentureUp. She has been an advisor at Angeles Investors and a board observer at Liveoak Technologies, Inc. Her extensive experience includes working as a Business Practices Strategist and an Independent Consultant at Goldman Sachs and serving as a Venture Partner and Principal at MATH Venture Partners.
