Karmele Berrocal Sertutxa is a successful academic with extensive experience in higher education. She has a doctorate in pharmacy with a specialization in nanotechnology, physical chemistry, and analytical chemistry. Her research interests include basic and applied research in the field of nanotechnology science. Berrocal Sertutxa is also an expert in education for global citizenship and sustainable development, and she has completed a Master of Business Administration and a Master's degree in University Teaching. She is a former coordinator of epilepsy studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Alcalá and has held teaching positions there as well. Additionally, she has worked on projects related to gender identity, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
