Outi Kotala is a Senior Service Designer at Gofore, specializing in public sector services and service ecosystems. With a Bachelor's degree from Tampere Polytechnic University and an MA from Taideteollinen korkeakoulu - Konstindustriella högskolan, Outi's background in arts and design became the foundation for her abounding passion in making a positive impact and designing for a better future. She has refined her skills through years of practice in customer-oriented service concepts, user studies, organizational and process design, workshops facilitation, and data-driven service design. Her expertise extends to the ethical aspects of AI and algorithm-based services. She is a former member of Friii network, UXalliance, and has worked with Tampere University of Technology, Nokia Mobile Phones, and Tampere University Hypermedialaboratory before her current position.
