Ruth Huttenhain is a seasoned biomedical mass spectrometry group leader with a decade's worth of experience in developing and executing high-throughput mass spectrometry-based proteomics approaches. She holds a Ph.D. in Systems Biology from the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, and a Master's and Dipl. Pharm. degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Ruth has an exceptional track record of managing and leading scientists across diverse areas of biology, cutting-edge proteomic technology platforms, and data analysis frameworks. Additionally, she possesses in-depth knowledge of multiple mass spectrometer platforms, global and unbiased (DDA/DIA), targeted (SRM/PRM) proteomic approaches, and coordinating a team-based cross-functional research project. Ruth Huttenhain has worked as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), a postdoctoral scholar at UCSF and ETH Zurich, a Ph.D. student at ETH Zurich, and a Graduate Student at the National Institutes of Health. She also has experience working as a Pharmacist at the Merlin Apotheke Bonn.
