Ian Verchere is a well-respected creative producer, game director, writer, and visual artist with an impressive background in the game industry. Over the years, Verchere has been involved in the creation and production of 40 impressive video, computer, and mobile games that have been played by millions of people worldwide. Verchere's expertise extends to writing, having sold his first feature screenplay to Buena Vista, and being a member of the WGAw. He is also a former professional skier and coach, having graduated with honors from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 1989.

Verchere is a former Creative Director at Radical Entertainment, where he worked until 1998 before joining Electronic Arts (Canada) as a Producer. He later co-founded Roadhouse Interactive and served as the company's Chief Creative Officer. He is also a founding faculty member of the Center for Digital Media and formerly Digital Artist-in-Residence at Emily Carr University of Art and Design.

Verchere's most recent venture is co-founding Session Games, a production company specializing in creating, delivering, and operating original games. He has a deep understanding of free-to-play monetization, mobile game play, and mobile narratives.
