Jaime Sotomayor
Jaime Sotomayor is a prominent tech entrepreneur and startup advisor with a wealth of experience in innovation and technology management. Starting his career as an intern at IBM, he later worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Siemens A.G before transitioning to entrepreneurship. A graduate of the Systems Engineering program at the University of Lima and the GSP14 program at Singularity University, he is also an Executive M.S. candidate in Technology Management at Columbia University.
His passion for innovation led him to create several groundbreaking startups, including UMA, Roomy, MedSquare, and Arcturus BioCloud, a biotech company based in Silicon Valley. He has also worked as the Head of Acceleration at Wayra and Managing Director at USIL Ventures. In 2015, he was recognized by the MIT Technology Review as one of the five Peruvian innovators under 35.
Jaime's expertise spans the intersection of entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation.
