Michael Kohler is an experienced emergency management and defense strategist professional who holds a Master of Science (MS) in Emergency Management from the University of Maryland University College, a B.S in Economics from the United States Naval Academy, and a Master of Arts (MA) in Defense and Strategic Studies, with Distinction from the U.S. Naval War College. He has a wealth of experience having served in several capacities such as Planner at II MEF at the United States Marine Corps, Volunteer Emergency Management Planner at Portsmouth Emergency Management Agency, Infantry Officer at Marine Detachment, Fort Benning, Company Commander at 2d Battalion, 3d Marines, and as an Infantry Officer, Instructor, Assistant Operations Officer at the School of Infantry.

Michael is a skilled strategist and has gained vast experience in defense and emergency management planning. He has garnered exceptional skills during his tenure in the United States Marine Corps, where he was responsible for ensuring successful planning, execution, and operations. Also, he has expertise in defense strategies and has developed the ability to think on his feet and make rational decisions in high-pressure situations.
