Oman Qatar Insurance Company

QICI is responsible for the direct writing arms of QIC outside the state of Qatar and includes: The UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Malta. The objective of this role was to guide and assist the individual business units establish their business plans and monitor progress as against plan and report those results to the Board of Directors.

Following the Qater Re expansion project, I held this interim position until a full time Compliance Office was sourced. During this time, I assisted the various Group Companies Compliance officers further develop their external and internal regulatory diaries.

Operating out of Doha, I was entrusted with the implementation of the Qatar Re’s expansion plan from June 2012 to February 2013 and until a seasoned Reinsurance Company was installed and which involved establishing offices and teams in Zurich, London and Bermuda as well as the day to day running of the company.

As CEO - Manage QICI and its subsidiary companies and agents in the UAE, Kuwait, Oman and Malta. As Advisor - provide Enterprise Risk Management, Treaty Reinsurance, Underwriting Strategies, Claims, Strategic Consulting including business plan & sales strategy development.
