Ewa Scheifes

Ewa Scheifes is a highly educated professional with diverse academic backgrounds in documentary film, media, and creative concepts.

With a Master's degree in Documentary Film from the Universiteit van Amsterdam, and Bachelor's degrees in Media and Culture from the same institution as well as in Documentary Creative Concepts from the University of Technology, Sydney, Ewa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her professional endeavors.

She has a strong track record of working with various organizations in the arts and cultural sector, with roles such as Programmamaker Kunst & Cultuur at Stichting NDSM-werf and Senior Program Manager Creative Industries at Pakhuis de Zwijger.

Having served as a Member of Young on Board at the Amsterdam Economic Board and as Voorzitter of Lost Project, Ewa has demonstrated leadership skills and a commitment to community engagement.

Her experience includes founding and programming events as the Co-founder & Programmer at Fuck Up Nights, as well as managing PR and communications at Amsterdam Roest and handling cultural programming and collaborations at Volkshotel.

Ewa Scheifes has also contributed to the field of photography as a Foam Lab member at Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam and has honed her journalistic skills through roles at Vice Magazine NL and as a Research Assistant at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Utrecht.
