Evert Lammerts

Evert Lammerts is a seasoned software engineer with a strong educational background. He studied Software Engineering at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE, BME) and also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden.

Throughout his career, Evert has held various key positions in renowned organizations. Currently, he serves as a Software Engineer at Uber, bringing his expertise to a leading tech company. Previously, he worked as a Backend Programmer at Gemeente Amsterdam, Datapunt / Datalab, a Senior Security Expert at ING, an Independent Consultant at Bottledbits, and as a Co-founder and Managing Director at Lucipher.

Evert Lammerts has also showcased his abilities in leadership roles. He served as the Tech Lead for The Netherlands at LifeWatch.eu, managed Hadoop services as a Consultant & Lead at SURFsara, and excelled as a Freelancer at Bottledbits. Moreover, his experience extends to research and consultancy, having worked as an Applied Researcher at MTA SZTAKI and as a Short Term Expert at the Ministry of Agriculture.

Additionally, Evert has a strong foundation in his field, evident from his internship at REC Regional Environmental Center. His diverse experiences in different roles and organizations have equipped him with a well-rounded skill set and a deep understanding of the software engineering domain.
