Evelyn Rangel-Medina
Assistant Professor of Law
Evelyn Marcelina Rangel-Medina is an Assistant Professor of Law at Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law with a focus on racial subordination and documentation status enforcement impact on citizens of color.
She teaches courses on Criminal Procedure, Employment Law, Latinxs & the Law, and Citizenism: Race & Immigration, and her research spans constitutional law, race and the law, employment discrimination, criminal procedure, and crimmigration.
Evelyn graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and is a University of California Presidential Public Interest Law Fellow.
Her undergraduate education includes three Bachelor of Arts degrees magna cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in English Literature, Women's Studies, and Political Science: Public Policy & International Relations.
Previously, she held roles at United for Respect, Restaurant Opportunities Centers United, and has an extensive background in labor and employment advocacy campaigns.
