Evanna Hu

Evanna Hu is the CEO and Partner at Omelas, a technology company focused on quantifying, automating, and integrating workflows in security and geopolitical risks. With expertise in CVE in Salafi-jihadism and neo-Nazism, she has operated in multiple countries in Africa and the Middle East. Prior to Omelas, Evanna founded tech ventures in Kenya and Jordan. She has briefed national intelligence heads, advised Cabinet members on tech and security, and is a classically trained pianist. A University of Chicago graduate, she serves on the Board of Directors of Re and is involved in post-IS reconstruction work in Iraq. Evanna is also an International Security Fellow at New America with a track record of high-level accomplishments.
