Billions of pounds of fresh produce are wasted in the United States every year, and wind up going to  landfills - producing harmful greenhouse gases. Meanwhile, millions of Americans are starving in food deserts, without access to healthy, affordable meals. 

Hungry Harvest will end food waste and hunger in America. We work with local farms & wholesalers to recover surplus fruits and vegetables, hand-assemble it into balanced variety boxes, and deliver it to subscribers every week, year round, for discounted prices. For every box we deliver to a subscriber, we enable someone in need to eat healthy. 

We're prepared to combat the massive food distribution problem that is plaguing this country, one ugly apple at a time.

Hungry Harvest

CEO & Founder

-Manage and assist in starting 50 new chapters of FRN in colleges across the U.S.
-Manage a pilot program of the Recovered Foods CSA initiative, which takes gleaned food from local farms and sells it to customers as a Community Supported Agriculture model
-Direct a team of three to recruit volunteers, drive sales, foster partnerships, and complete financial statements

Earned Income Coordinator

-Conducted a 3-week research project determining the most important stakeholders in state-wide Obesity Prevention Plans; findings distributed to BCLC network
-Researched and ‘tweeted’ about over 250 Corporate Social Responsibility projects 
-Organized and compiled nominations for the 2013 Citizen's Awards, recognizing the best 'Corporate Citizen' in eight areas of Corporate Social Responsibility
-Managed Disaster Corporate Aid Trackers, which recorded corporation's donations to disaster relief

-Selected as 1 of 38 interns out of 2700 applicants
-Worked with a team of fellow interns to plan the Summer League Sample Sale, which had revenues of over $200,000
-Assisted in planning, setting up, and supervising 20+ employee events
-Designed and edited a weekly campus-wide employee communication bulletin seen by over 1200+ employees
