Evan Johnson

Evan Johnson is an accomplished data and analytics professional with over 10 years of experience leading diverse cross-functional teams. He began his career as an Intelligence Officer in the Marine Corps, where he led teams of varying sizes in Japan and Afghanistan. After his military service, Johnson earned a joint MBA/Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Chicago, specializing in finance, statistics, entrepreneurship, and scientific policy.

Johnson's passion for data, startups, technology, and fast-moving teams led him to Steady, where he served as the VP of Analytics & Data Strategy based in New York. He was responsible for all reporting and strategic analysis, guiding the company in its mission as a Series B robo income advisor for gig economy workers. Prior to joining Steady, Johnson held senior roles at Andela and FirstFuel Software and interned at the U.S. Department of Energy.
