Evan Huggins

Evan Huggins is a seasoned design leader with a rich background in wearable tech, IoT, outdoor gear, project management, entrepreneurship, and international collaboration. His work centers around crafting objects and experiences that seamlessly blend human behavior, design, and technology to drive business growth and create significant impact.

Evan holds a Master's of Industrial Design in Industrial and Product Design from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters from Colorado College.

His professional journey includes notable roles such as Director of Product Design, Hardware, Lead Industrial Designer, and Senior Industrial Designer at Hammerhead. Additionally, he has served as a Visiting Instructor at Pratt Institute and held design positions at various firms like Interwoven Design Group, SEArch+ / Space Exploration Architecture, and Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator.

Evan has a diverse skill set demonstrated by his past experiences as a Co-Founder & Lead Designer at ReMo Technology, Solar Garment Designer at Pvilion, CNC Shop Manager at Pratt Institute, and Metal Fabricator at Ferra Designs Inc. His passion for education and outdoor activities is evident from his stints as a Snowboard Instructor at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Climbing and Backpacking Instructor at Adventure Treks, and Program Director at InterConnections 21.

In addition, Evan has also delved into unique roles such as Smart Textiles Design Fellow at Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator, Stone Mason at Dennis Kossow Masonry Inc., and Crew Chief for a Professional Artist at PATRICK DOUGHERTY.
