Evan Auguste
Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology at Fordham University
Evan Auguste is a graduate student enrolled in Fordham University's Clinical Psychology PhD program with a specialization in Forensic Psychology. His current research interests include microaggressions, trauma, and depression among justice-involved youths. In addition to his academic pursuits, Evan actively volunteers in Haiti through the Association of Haitian Physicians Abroad.
Evan completed his Bachelor's degrees in Psychology at Middlebury College and the University of Nottingham. His educational background has provided him with a strong foundation in psychological principles and research methodologies.
Throughout his career, Evan has been involved in various organizations and roles, such as serving as a Consultant at the National Center for Mental Health and Juvenile Justice, a Volunteer Project Coordinator at Ceprosa - Center for Promotion of Social Activities, and a Research Coordinator at NYU Langone Medical Center. He has also held positions as a Research Assistant, Trainee, and Intern at NYU Langone Medical Center and the Center for Health, Identity, Behavior, and Prevention Studies at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Additionally, he has worked as an Editorial Intern at myISH, an Extern at Brooklyn Children's Psychiatric Center, a Psychiatric Assistant at Gascov Clerge Foundation, and an Assistant at Triad Films.
