Esther Aix, Ph.D.

Esther Aix Sacido, Ph.D., is an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) currently working at Reata Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In her role, she focuses on supporting the development and commercialization of pharmaceuticals for Nephrology and Rare Diseases in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Esther has an impressive academic background, with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya BarcelonaTech, and postdoctoral research experience at Indiana University School of Medicine and University of Alabama at Birmingham. Prior to joining Reata Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Esther served as an MSL at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, where she provided medical support for Soliris, a medication used to treat rare blood and genetic disorders. With her vast experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Esther is a valuable member of the Reata team, helping bring innovative treatments to patients in need.
