Esta Chiang

Esta Chiang is a talented computer scientist and media designer with a passion for 3D volumetric video production. She studied Applied Mathematics at The University of Auckland and later Computer Science and Media Design at Victoria University of Wellington. During her successful career, she has held numerous positions such as Co-Founder at Girave Studio and Food Ninja, Software Engineer and Volumetric Pipeline Technical Director at 8i, and currently holds the position of Volumetric Pipeline Technical Director at Mantis Vision. With a deep understanding of 3D volumetric video production, she is an expert in capturing volumetric human scans without the need for a green screen. Utilizing the Mantis Vision 3D Volumetric Studio, Esta produces turn-key solutions that create immersive experiences unique to each user. With her industry experience and extensive skill set, she has been integral to the growth and success of her past and current companies.
