Eryc Taylor, Founder and Artistic Director of Eryc Taylor Dance, is a renowned dancer, teacher, and social entrepreneur. With an MFA in Dance from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and a BFA in Dance from The University of the Arts, Philadelphia, Taylor has presented his work worldwide since 1995. In addition to his dance endeavors, Taylor is the inventor and CEO of BurnBarre™, the industry's first travel-friendly ballet barre. He has been invited to teach, perform, and speak at numerous companies and organizations, including Google, Merrill Lynch, and the Supportive Housing Network of NY. Taylor is passionate about social impact, as demonstrated by his non-profit dance company's outreach division, ETD Outreach, which provides movement workshops to underserved communities. His recent work, EARTH, received a match grant from the Marta Heflin Foundation and will premiere in 2020. Taylor holds several residencies in the New York area, including with Hour Children, Odyssey House, and NYU Langone.
