Eryc Taylor

Eryc Taylor is the Founder, Artistic Director, and Owner of Eryc Taylor Dance, a nonprofit dance company based in New York City.12 He has choreographed and presented new works worldwide since 1995.13

Taylor received his BFA in Dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and an MFA in Dance from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.13 He has studied abroad at the London Contemporary School of Dance and the Centre de Danse du Marais in Paris.1

As a performer, Taylor received a residency at Jacob's Pillow, spent two years with Merce Cunningham's Junior Ensemble (RUG), and has performed works by various choreographers including Merce Cunningham, Mark Dendy, and Paul Taylor.1

In addition to his work with Eryc Taylor Dance, Taylor is also the Founder and Inventor of BurnBarre™.1
