Ernie Malaspina

Ernie Malaspina is an experienced legal professional with a background in public sector employee discipline, litigation, and labor disputes.

Ernie has a strong focus on providing practical and understandable solutions to his clients to avoid lengthy and costly legal proceedings.

Before joining Hopkins & Carley, Ernie worked as an associate at Whitmore, Johnson & Bolanos, and has over 15 years of experience in private sector transportation management.

His specialties include discrimination and harassment cases, employment contracts, litigation, personnel policies, public entity employment issues, unfair competition, wage and hour disputes, and wrongful termination litigation.

Ernie Malaspina holds a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law and a BA from the University of California, Davis.

He currently serves as the Managing Shareholder at Hopkins & Carley and has previously worked as an Attorney at Whitmore, Johnson & Bolanos.
