Ernesto van Peborgh

Ernesto van Peborgh is the Director of Capital Lab at the Capital Institute, where he leads the incubation of the organization’s Regenerative Capital Advisors. This initiative aims to transform investor perspectives in line with regenerative economic principles. His work focuses on fostering new systems of organization and knowledge commons, utilizing social media technologies to drive cultural change and cognitive emergence.1

In addition to his role at Capital Institute, van Peborgh is the founder of El Viaje de Odiseo, a venture dedicated to creating innovative organizational frameworks. He is also a co-founder of Rehumans, an innovation lab that conducts capacity-building programs and action research globally to promote significant societal innovations. His recent publication, Homohacker, explores how humanity adapts to increasing complexity through enhanced interconnectivity and decentralized organizational systems.12

Before his current endeavors, van Peborgh held a position as vice president at Citicorp Equity Investments and founded the AVP-AIG Southern Cone Fund, showcasing his extensive background in finance and investment.1
