Lead a group of actuaries and modelers around the world to develop profitable growth strategies and sophisticated pricing models for commercial auto, general liability, workers compensation, excess, medical malpractice, and product recall. Head of Global Casualty Pricing and Analytics

Cheif actuary for Reinsurance and Underwriting Office to guide strategies around property pricing and catastrophe accumulation. Evaluated economics of various reinsurance treaties for effective purchasing. Developed and helped implemented the catastrophe exposure pricing at an account level, which incorporated modeled AAL, reinsurance cost, and appropriate capital charge. Developed the first version of the technical pricing model for property.

SVP & Pricing Actuary

Created and implemented annual performance metrics for business units and territories. Worked with the business units and Accounting to gather financial projections to assist in formulating the earnings guidance and evaluating and projecting the company’s capital position. Assist the Chief Risk Officer in setting regional PML limits to guide business units in how to deploy their capacity.  Provided actuarial support on a variety of strategic initiatives such as a scenario planning with senior managers and members of the executive committee to identify and explore new business opportunities and investments.Worked closely with the Chief Global Field Officer and his direct reports to tier agencies to design performance-based compensation and service plans as well as to monitor performances of agents and branches.  Identified as one with deep business expertise and selected as one of 15 members of the cross functional team for the first Motivate+Drive+Deliver initiative. Facilitated discussions around submitted ideas with the idea owners to help them articulate their cases about how to further Chubb’s success. Evaluated and scored more than 600 submissions and recommended the top ideas for business case development.Managed the pricing area for Commercial General Liability including Errors and Omission and Environmental Liability as well as Property Lines such as Monoline Property, Package Property, Inland Marine, Machinery Breakdown, and Ocean Marine. Provided actuarial and business expertise to improve opportunities for growth and profitability worldwide. Monitored and kept management abreast of important information and relevant industry context and trends. Forecasted future policy year results based on the past experience including frequency, severity, and price trends to influence underwriting strategies and examined the forecasts against the actual results.
