Erin Johnson

Erin Johnson is a talented Animator and Scientific Illustrator, known for her work as the Head of the Obscura Society LA at Atlas Obscura.

Erin Johnson received her education from the prestigious Gnomon School of Visual Effects and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, honing her skills in the field.

She has been associated with various organizations, including serving as the Outreach Manager at Theodore Payne Foundation for Wild Flowers and Native Plants.

Previously, Erin held key positions such as Head of the Atlas Obscura Society at Atlas Obscura, Artist and Scientific Illustrator as a Freelancer, and Research Associate at The Institute for Learning Innovation.

Her experience also includes roles like Research Assistant in Public Research and Evaluation at the Wildlife Conservation Society, and Research Evaluation Assistant in the Audience Research Department at John G. Shedd Aquarium.
