Erin Darby holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global and Community Health from George Mason University. She completed her undergraduate studies in Health Sciences with a focus on Public Health Education at James Madison University. Erin also pursued Undergraduate Studies at the University of Mary Washington. With a strong educational background in public health, Erin has embarked on a diverse professional journey in the field.
Currently, Erin Darby serves as a Senior Specialist in Newborn Screening and Genetics at APHL (Association of Public Health Laboratories), contributing her expertise to this vital aspect of public health. Prior to her current role, she held positions that reflect her commitment to health education and promotion, such as serving on the Board of Directors at the Breastfeeding Center for Greater Washington and working as a Maternity Health Educator at Evolent Health.
In addition to her significant roles in public health organizations, Erin has gained extensive experience in program coordination and administration. She has held positions as a Program Coordinator at Evolent Health, Administrative Coordinator for the Johns Hopkins Global Obesity Prevention Center at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Administrative Coordinator at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
