Erin Bromaghim serves as the Director of Olympic and Paralympic Development in the Office of Mayor Eric Garcetti at the City of Los Angeles, focusing on making Los Angeles more sustainable, inclusive, resilient, and innovative as it prepares to host the 2028 Games.
Erin, a Conrad N. Hilton Foundation Fellow for the Sustainable Development Goals, aligns the city's plans with the United Nation's Agenda 2030 to create an enduring legacy for Angelenos.
With a background in defense, intelligence, and security reform, Erin spent 13 years at the Department of Defense before transitioning to her current role in city development.
She holds a BA in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Wake Forest University, an MA in Latin American Government from Georgetown University, and certificates in Project Management and General Management from Stanford University and Harrison Metal, respectively.
Aside from her current position, Erin has also held roles such as Visiting Senior Fellow on State and City Diplomacy at the Truman Center for National Policy, Program Manager at the US Department of Defense, Special Assistant at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and Presidential Management Fellow at the US Navy.
