Erika Trujillo is an accomplished attorney with years of experience in global trade law. She is a member in good standing of the New York Bar and is registered with the Rechtsanwaltskammer München (Munich Bar Association). Trujillo studied Juris Doctor (J.D.) in International Law at the University of Virginia School of Law and received a Certificate in Leadership and Management for Lawyers, International, and Comparative Business Law from Bucerius Law School.
Trujillo's interest in international relations and national security studies led her to complete a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in the field at The George Washington University. Throughout her career, she has held various positions that allowed her to gain expertise and skills that have made her a sought-after expert in global trade advisory. She started as an international trade specialist at the International Trade Administration before becoming a Monroe Leigh fellow at the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Executive Directorate.
Trujillo's experience includes working as a foreign legal consultant at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and a senior trade compliance specialist at Adient. Before joining Deloitte, where she currently works as a manager in the Global Trade Advisory division and formerly as an associate in Foreign Trade Law, she worked in various sectors, including manufacturing, automobile, and legal consulting services.
