Erik Selz

Erik Selz is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the music industry, specializing in designing strategic touring plans for artists. He kickstarted his career by founding Red Ryder Entertainment in Chicago during the 1990s, where he managed a diverse lineup of artists such as The Magnetic Fields, Andrew Bird, Carbon Leaf, and Squirrel Nut Zippers.

With a proven track record, Erik garnered two nominations for the Pollstar 'Boutique Agency of the Year' while at Red Ryder Entertainment before merging his company with The Windish Agency in 2014. At The Windish Agency, he spearheaded global campaigns for prominent acts like alt-J and M83.

Transitioning to Paradigm in 2016 through the Windish acquisition, Erik expanded his roster to include noteworthy talents such as BADBADNOTGOOD, Nilüfer Yanya, and Altin Gün, establishing himself as a go-to figure in the music representation realm.

Erik Selz's expertise spans across various music genres, including indie, jam, alternative rock, R&B, psychedelic, and world music. His all-encompassing approach allows him to identify opportunities and nurture talent with a keen eye for artistic innovation.

In October 2020, Erik collaborated with five long-time friends and colleagues to launch Arrival Artists, a collective dedicated to championing artistic expression above all. This venture combines the entrepreneurial spirit of independent agents with the industry knowledge gained from years of working with major talent agencies.

Equipped with a strong educational background in Art History and Economics from Northwestern University, Erik Selz continues to lead Arrival Artists with a vision focused on promoting emerging and established artists across diverse music venues, from intimate clubs to expansive arenas.
