Erik Huizer

Erik Huizer is a prominent figure in the field of design and technology, currently serving as the Co-Lead of the Design Studio at Deloitte Nederland. In this role, he focuses on translating client strategies and objectives into creative concepts, leveraging his extensive experience in design and branding.3

In addition to his position at Deloitte, Huizer has a significant background in internet governance and technology. He was previously the Chief Executive Officer of GÉANT, a pan-European data network for research and education, and has held various senior leadership roles within the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and the Internet Architecture Board (IAB) over the years. His contributions include pivotal work on cryptography in internet protocols and internationalizing IETF meetings.12
