Erik Færevaag

Erik Fossum Færevaag is a highly accomplished individual with a strong educational background and extensive experience in various organizations.

He studied Upper secondary school at Fana Gymnas and pursued a Master of Science in Microelectronics at NTNU, as well as Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Southampton.

Erik also attended specialized training at the Royal Norwegian Navy School for Divers and Frogmen (DFS) and received firefighting education at the Norwegian Naval Base.

In his professional journey, Erik holds the titles of Founder, CFO & Chief Strategy Officer at Disruptive Technologies and has held key positions in several organizations such as Green Power Hub, Farmable, Circular Components, TERRAVERA Foundation, Songbird, and Fana Sparebank among others.

He has a rich history in technology and engineering roles, having served as Senior Design Engineering Manager at Silicon Labs, Analog Manager and Technology Architect at Energy Micro AS, Project Manager at Texas Instruments, and Analog IC Designer at Chipcon AS.

Erik's early career involved roles as a Teaching Assistant and Laboratory Assistant at NTNU and Chipcon AS, showcasing his commitment to mentorship and education.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Erik has showcased his athletic prowess as a top-level rower at the Bergen Rowing Club.
