Erik Ferrier

Erik Ferrier is a proficient Design Leader with a strong interest in Design Systems, Design Strategy, and music. Originally from Paris, he currently resides in Oslo and holds the position of Head of Design at TIDAL, overseeing a talented Design Team in both Oslo and New York.

Erik's areas of expertise include building agile and diverse design teams, establishing and managing Design Systems, conducting workshops and collaborative creation processes, applying Design Thinking principles, demonstrating creative leadership, enhancing brand awareness, and championing user-centered design.

He pursued his design and art education at prestigious institutions such as Atelier de Sèvre, Strate College for Industrial and Product Design, and École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts de Paris-Cergy (ENSAPC). Additionally, Erik delved into philosophy studies at Khâgne and hypôkahgne, enriching his multidisciplinary background.

Erik Ferrier's career journey includes notable roles such as Senior Creative and Head of Graphic Design at TIDAL, Senior Graphic Designer at Inmeta, Head of Graphic Design and UX department at Logica, Interaction Designer at Miksmaster, and various positions combining design and management responsibilities.

He also contributed to Studio Molkerei SA as a Member and Board Member, established his own ventures like Caribou as a Graphic-Interaction Designer, and served as a Product Manager and Content producer at All Ears AS. Furthermore, Erik honed his skills as a Freelance Designer, showcasing his versatility and passion for design throughout his professional endeavors.
