Erik Esborg

Erik Esborg is an experienced and licensed certified public accountant (CPA) with over 25 years of expertise in small business and nonprofit financial management. He is highly skilled in blending his accounting knowledge with strong oral and written communication skills in order to effectively manage and communicate financial results and strategies in a simple and understandable way. With previous experience teaching accounting classes at a community college, Erik values the importance of communication in his profession. Erik has a proven track record of providing exceptional financial management, strategic leadership, and employee management. Additionally, he thrives on problem-solving and creative thinking to help businesses grow. He has a Master of Science in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of San Diego. Erik has held executive positions in various organizations, including Vice President of Finance at PeopleForBikes and Finance Director of the International Mountain Bicycling Association. He is a Board of Directors Member at Bicycle Colorado and formerly owned Erik K Esborg, CPA PC and was an Audit Manager/Tax Specialist at Marty, Lyle and Doty, LLC.
