Erik Contzius

Erik Contzius is an individual dedicated to the development of rental apartments and commercial spaces within underutilized historic properties, with a particular focus on creating vibrant and affordable communities. His approach prioritizes civic goals over profits and aims to enrich the community by providing employment opportunities to residents. Erik ensures that each completed property is dignified and a place he would be proud to call his own. Erik's educational background includes a Masters in Sacred Music with a focus on Cantorial Arts from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, a BA in Psychology and Music from Rutgers University, and studies in Psychology and Music at the University of York. He has been involved in various organizations, including being the Owner/Manager of The Flatz Properties, LLC, and previously owning Weddings by Cantor Erik Contzius. Erik has also had experience as a Digital Marketing Consultant, Web Designer & Developer at ZingMap and Make Tech Better Incorporated, as well as having served as faculty at Crane Lake Camp and as a Cantor at multiple places of worship.
