Erica Vick Penley is the practice leader of Bass, Berry & Sims PLC's Government Advocacy & Public Policy Practice Group. She is a legislative counsel and registered lobbyist with substantial experience representing various industries before the Tennessee General Assembly and Executive Branch. Erica is well-versed in Tennessee campaign finance law, administrative rule-making proceedings, and has co-authored a handbook on Lobbying, PACs, and Campaign Finance. In addition to government advocacy, she serves as general counsel to the statewide association of electric cooperatives and has a background in diverse legal cases, including healthcare and business disputes. Erica is actively involved in the Nashville community, holding board positions in organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee and the Tennessee Lobbyist Association.
